DoubleNestled in the picturesque Cornish village of Goldsithney, just moments from the coast and the hidden gem of Prussia Cove, Copper Bal Cottage is a delightful dog-friendly, two bedroomed terraced cottage which is the perfect escape for couples or a small family seeking comfort, charm and a real taste of Cornish life. Thoughtfully furnished and full of character, the cottage blends modern comfort with a warm welcoming feel, sleeping three guests wishing to explore this stunning part of the county.
Inside this sweet home, the snug sitting-room's central focus is the cosy wood-burner, perfect for curling up by after a day exploring the coast or countryside. Comfy sofas and a huge armchair invite you to settle in on a chilly evening and appreciate the homely feeling. The well-equipped modern kitchen caters for all your needs with stylish crockery and quality cookware. The bright and airy dining-area is a social space to gather sharing a relaxed breakfast, long lunches or intimate suppers.
Doors open directly onto a sweet two-tiered garden. A bistro table offers a tranquil spot for morning coffee whilst in the garden there is also relaxed seating thoughtfully placed for unwinding with a book or soaking up the Cornish sunshine. You can also fire up the barbecue and enjoy al fresco dining of a summer evening.
Up the traditionally steep cottage stairs there are two bedrooms, one with a luxurious king-size bed, full of natural light and one is a small double, both beautifully appointed for a restful night's sleep. A small but stylish bathroom sits between the two, ideal to wash away your sandy day.
Goldsithney itself is a welcoming and friendly village, home to two traditional pubs, a local shop and a strong community spirit. From time to time, you might catch the 'clip clop' of horses passing the front of the cottage, a much-loved sound in this peaceful Cornish village.
The location of this charming home is perfectly placed for exploring the South West Coast Path, Marazion, St Michael's Mount with its ancient castle erupting from the sea, and many nearby sandy beaches. Just a short drive or scenic walk away lies Prussia Cove, known for its dramatic coastline, smuggler history and secluded coves, perfect for wild swimming or peaceful picnics.
