We're super excited to introduce you to our very first showman's wagon, a stunningly romantic hideaway for two nestled in north Cornwall that's dog friendly too.

Lovingly handcrafted in Scotland for a travelling circus family who went on to take part in The World's Fair, Bluebell is a beautiful, fully restored wagon that was the home for the circus's showman. Offering an idyllic escape for two lucky people, Bluebell invites you to climb aboard for ultimate relaxation with nothing but the birds as your soundtrack, plus it's dog friendly if you have a four-legged friend!

Tucked away in a quiet corner where emerald fields of grass ripple gently by the wind, Bluebell lies waiting for your arrival. Step up inside and you'll discover a wooden-clad refuge away from the every day. Bijoux yet cleverly designed to maximise the space, there's a kitchen area in front of you complete with all the essentials needed to rustle up a meal for your loved one, including a gas oven and pretty Cornishware to plate up delicious goodies. We recommend seeking out a local farm shop for tasty local produce, such as the ones found in Padstow and Heligan. Opposite the kitchen lies a dining-table for two from which to savour meals and each other's company.

After you've eaten, make your way to the sumptuous two seater sofa for cuddles and a good read, while a wood-burner is on hand for cooler nights to make things extra cosy. If you want to catch up on your favourite film or series, there's also a TV on hand, plus WiFi if you need to stay in touch with the outside world.

Tucked away at the other end of the wagon lies the sleeping area, complete with a spacious king-sized bed to retreat to after a day's exploring, and for long lie-ins in the morning. Two windows are on hand to open on warm nights to hear the hooting of owls and look at the stars, or to open on fresh mornings to let the country air in to help wake you up. There's also a small wardrobe to hang belongings, shelves either side of the bed and hooks for your bits and pieces. A heater is on hand for cooler nights, too.

You'll find the shower-room in a separate building adjacent to the wagon, with a shower for wake-me-up ablutions or for washing sandy toes after a day on the beach, plus a sink, heated towel rail and WC.

In the garden, there's a fantastic outdoor bath waiting to be filled with steaming hot water and bubbles for you to sink into as the sun sets, complete with a glass of something extra special in hand. Lie back and let muscles relax while you watch the stars appear above you, enjoyed even more when shared with another. In addition, there are sun loungers for reclining on when lazy days call, and a bistro table and chairs for al fresco meals.

Bluebell lies in the countryside just a few miles in from Mawgan Porth and is the perfect spot from which to explore mid Cornwall and both the north and south coasts. Foodie favourite Padstow is just a short drive away, and also offers seven sandy beaches for when you want a beach day, while the majestic Bedruthan Steps is a lovely walk with magnificent views over the beach and its rocky edifices, said to have been stepping stones for giants. The lush wilderness of The Lost Gardens of Heligan is just a short drive away and well worth a visit, while time to explore The Eden Project is a must, too. The South West Coast Path is great for walks, especially if you have your pooch with you, while Trevose Head has magnificent views. Head west to Newquay for hustle and bustle and more beaches, while further east lies Polzeath, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel - all definitely worth a visit.
