Tucked away between the open fields on Cornwall's alluring north coast, Stargazy is settled in the quiet idyll of rural bliss.

This is a stunning semi-detached two bedroom, granite barn conversion and feels very much like a boutique hotel with its relaxed style, beautiful decor and thoughtful little touches. The living space is warm and cosy complete with squishy sofas, puzzles and games, and a wood-burning stove which is perfect for cosy evenings all year round. In fact, when the weather sets in, there's no place better to snuggle up with a glass of wine and a good book by the fire, with the sound of the wind and rain hitting the deck outside. The kitchen is a foodie's delight with light grey worktops, a large range, butler sink and impressive cookery book collection. The dining-area has hand-built bench seating and is a great entertaining space.

Stargazy is all on one level (apart from three steps from the deck to the garden), a corridor leads through to the main bedroom which has the wow factor, boasting a super-comfy bed and antique furniture, what more could you wish for! If this room couldn't get any better, it does! French doors open out onto the patio and a show-stopping hot tub awaits you, perfect for romantic evenings stargazing with your favourite people. The en suite shower-room is pure luxury with soft grey encaustic tiles and an invigorating walk-in rain shower.

The second bedroom is a lovely peaceful space too, decorated in soft grey hues. This room can be made up as a twin or with a super-king size bed. You choose! The family bathroom with a roll-top bath is the perfect place to unwind in after a day on the beach or exploring the coast path.

Stargazy is fully kitted out with all the little luxuries you could wish for – lovely goodies on arrival, the fire laid, and dog treats for your pooch; all gifted by the friendly owner who lives next door and is on hand if you have any questions during your stay, but otherwise leaves you in absolute privacy if you just want to take your foot off the pedal and unwind. With bags of original features paired beautifully with modern comforts, this wonderful barn is truly a haven for relaxation whilst the incredible garden offers a wonderful hot tub and oodles of outdoor living including a fire-pit; all you need are some marshmallows and you are suddenly recreating those childhood campfire days.

Bustling Newquay with its fabulous surfing beaches is just a short drive away, so make sure you bring your body boards, buckets and spades. Meanwhile a little way along the breathtaking north Cornwall coast you will find Watergate Bay – perfect for that special family day at the beach and there is a whole host of tempting eateries in nearby Padstow. Cyclists will love the Camel Trail (bikes available to hire locally), which winds its way from Padstow to Wadebridge and beyond, and makes for a great day out – why not pack a picnic and take it with you? Or maybe take a sea safari boat trip from Padstow and explore the coast from the water – who knows, you may be lucky enough to spot seals, dolphins or maybe even a basking shark!

Nature lovers and ramblers are in for a real treat with an abundance of coastal and countryside walks literally on the doorstep – don those walking boots, brandish the binoculars and be ready to hunt out the many rare and exotic species of flora and fauna that flourish in the hedgerows and along the shorelines. For an exciting and enthralling day trip, venture south to The Lost Gardens of Heligan or the Eden Project, home to the largest rainforest in captivity and a tropical oasis in the heart of Cornwall's lost China Clay wilderness. Events, exhibitions, activities and even outdoor concerts are held throughout the year so be sure to check at the time of your visit if you fancy a bit of celeb spotting.

Stargazy will draw guests who seek a stunning retreat from which to explore Cornwall allowing you to relax and enjoy long days filled with adventures before returning and having cosy fire-pit ramblings and hot tub stargazing of course!
