DoubleWelcome to Sunset Skies - a stylish, first floor apartment located in the seaside town of Hunstanton, aptly named due to the way the sky lights up at dusk, bursting into bold, vibrant colours as the sun slips away. At low tide enjoy a gentle stroll to the nearby beaches of Old Hunstanton, with colourful beach huts dotted amongst the dunes. A promenade connects Hunstanton to the neighbouring historic village of Heacham, with its North and South Beaches and Norman Church.
The town centre at Hunstanton, fondly known as 'Sunny Hunny', boasts a variety of independent shops as well as a supermarket, where you can pick up some fresh local produce, or if you prefer to eat out, there is a wide variety of restaurants and cafes, all within easy walking distance. For a special occasion why not plan ahead and book a meal at The Neptune Michelin Star restaurant in neighbouring Old Hunstanton, popular with visitors and locals alike, and savour their taster menu.
Sunset Skies is located on the first floor of a spacious and beautifully restored Victorian residence, and boasts a large open plan living area where the dining-table is perfectly placed within the expansive bay window, to take in the distant views towards the sea.
Step into the spacious entrance hall, shared with the ground and first floor apartments, then climb the stairs to the first floor where you'll find the entrance to your light-filled and thoughtfully designed holiday apartment.
The comfortable sitting-area is the ideal space for couples or a small family to kick back and relax of an evening. Enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV, and snuggle up on the sumptuous velvet sofa, popcorn in hand while you plan the next day's adventures.
The well-appointed kitchen is compact but includes a fridge/freezer, washing machine/drier and a dishwasher, so has all you need to conjure up hearty breakfasts and light suppers to start and end your day perfectly, all whilst enjoying the sea glimpses from the dining-area.
The two bedrooms, both with double beds, have been thoughtfully furnished to create a home-from-home, relaxed retreat and have the options of both feather or hollow fibre duvets. With fitted wardrobes, there is ample space to unpack your luggage and fully relax, free of clutter. A family bathroom completes the accommodation at Sunset Skies.
Babes in arms up to the age of six months are welcome (please bring your own travel cot or moses basket), however there is limited room for a travel cot in the bedrooms, so it would need to be situated in the sitting/dining-room.
Whether you enjoy a stroll along the promenade, brunch in one of the many cafes or supper at the local restaurants followed by a show at the Princess Theatre, there is plenty to see and do for everyone.
Whatever the season book a trip to 'Sunny Hunny' and enjoy a seaside escape, to celebrate special occasions with friends and family, or simply for a romantic getaway for two.
