Zip and linkNestled at the end of Ryde Road, just a short walk from the beach and Seaview village, with off-street parking and a lovely large garden to the rear, semi-detached Tangle Cottage is a lovely spacious holiday home in a fantastic location.
The ground floor has plenty of space for everyone, with a separate large dining-room with ample room for eight to all get together at the end of the day, catch up, and plan the days ahead. The sitting-room runs the full length of the house and has doors out to the large garden. There is more than enough soft seating and a wood-burner to cosy around if the weather is a bit cooler.
The kitchen is a cleverly thought out cooking and sociable space with additional soft seating and a breakfast-bar overlooking the garden. There is everything you will need to cook up the family favourites in the well-equipped modern kitchen. There are doors from here also leading out to the garden, with an outdoor shower to wash the sand off your toes! There is outdoor furniture to make the most of the Island sunshine and dine outside whenever you can.
All four bedrooms are on the first floor, two doubles and two twins, with the flexibility of 'zip and link' configuration in the two double bedrooms. All rooms are decorated to a high standard and guests will benefit from the generous comfort here at Tangle Cottage. There is a family bathroom on the first floor, with a bath and separate shower cubicle. An additional shower-room is on the ground floor with a large shower cubicle.
Just a few minutes' stroll from Tangle Cottage and you will reach the water's edge, the beach here is the perfect combination of sand and rocks. The kids can go crabbing or rock pooling and shallow waters make it ideal for swimming.
Seaview village is a five minute walk away, with the Old Fort and the Seaview Hotel which are great for family friendly dining with amazing sea views. Lily’s cafe serves a superb range of home-made cakes or a full English breakfast to start your day without any washing up! Seaview has a very unique and friendly atmosphere making it a wonderful place to enjoy a traditional family holiday by the sea.
