Oh my, this has to be the cutest cottage ever. Bijou and beautiful it is pure delight! Hidden away in the rural hamlet of Trewethern, the trendy hotspots of Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac are the shortest of drives away, making this the perfect retreat for an escape away in north Cornwall. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the owner has taken great care and consideration to ensure that you will want for nothing in this very special and characterful retreat, and we guarantee you will fall in love with it from the minute you step inside.

The open plan living-room warmly welcomes you, with its toasty wood-burner proudly standing in the fireplace. The Shaker-style kitchen, with its gorgeous wood worksurface, has all you need to rustle up holiday feasts, all served up on the sweetest of tables, which will fold away if you want more space or perhaps taken outside so you can dine under the stars, on the little terrace.

Steps lead you to a small utility-area where the owner has provided you with that all-important dishwasher, well do you really want to be doing the dishes when you are on holiday? Here you will also find a super stylish shower-room, just the tonic for freshening up after a day of adventure or for setting you up for the day ahead. When it's time for bed, open-tread stairs lead up to the bedroom area. Set under the eaves it is utterly charming, you will soon be dozing off into the land of nod and sweet dreams.

Days out from Poet's Demise are plentiful. Outdoor pursuits will become part of daily life with miles of countryside rambles that lead right from your doorstep and head out to the coast to immerse yourself in stunning seascapes and beautiful sandy beaches with Daymer Bay and Polzeath sure to be on your list of favourites.

If dining out is on the agenda, you couldn't be better positioned, this area is a culinary hotspot and you are in for a treat. The renowned St Kew Inn is only a mile away, where you will also find a great farm shop and cafe and for more tempting treats the village pub in Chapel Amble will also delight add to this numerous celebrity chefs creating their culinary creations in their award-winning eateries.

Golfers can put their handicaps to the test at St Enodoc, home to Europe's largest bunker, or hire some bikes and hit the renowned Camel Trail as it winds its way from Bodmin Moor all the way along the Camel Estuary out to Padstow on the coast.

The pretty coastal villages of Port Isaac and Boscastle will delight and at trendy Rock, you can try your hand at sailing, water skiing or windsurfing. If you want to take things at a gentler pace the historic houses and gardens of Pencarrow and Lanhydrock are a must, in fact there is so much to see and do, one visit simply won't be enough.
