Head up a short flight of steps and you enter through a wooden porchway into the first floor open plan living space, which is thoughtfully styled in relaxing hues of creams and greys to complement the beautiful herringbone wooden floor and quality furnishings throughout. Relax on the fabulous sofa after a day out exploring, snuggle up in front of the Smart TV to watch your favourite movie or listen to music, create a culinary masterpiece or a tasty snack or head out to one of the local pubs, the Polgooth Inn is only a short drive away as is the Cornwall Spa if you fancy booking yourself a pamper.
When the clock strikes bedtime, head down the stairs to your stunning bedroom where you will find a super-king size bed and an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and free-standing double ended bath, ideal for a soak at the end of the day - whether you've had an active day walking the coast path or spent a more relaxing day closer to home. Open the French doors and take your bedtime nightcap or morning cuppa out onto your little private courtyard. There's a further private outdoor sitting-area opposite the cottage, a more sheltered space which is perfect to retreat to on a hot sunny day with a cold drink.

If you're in search of those breathtaking coastal views synonymous with Cornwall, head out for a scenic walk along the coastal path or perhaps you're after a lazy day on the beach, building sandcastles and taking the odd dip in the crystal-clear waters. St Austell Bay is dotted with a number of golden sandy beaches and beautiful coastline. The historic maritime village Charlestown, with its picturesque harbour, is nearby and was one of the favoured locations for filming the popular TV series Poldark, so if you're a fan, seek out the filming locations and walk in the footsteps of Poldark himself!
Stable Cottage is ideally located for exploring both coasts of Cornwall and you can be on the south coast within 20 minutes, with its pretty fishing villages and glorious sandy beaches. Enjoy some water activity and catch the ferry from St Mawes to Falmouth, or for the more adventurous why not hire a paddleboard and explore some of the hidden creeks of the Fal estuary. The north coast, with its dramatic cliff paths and magnificent surfing beaches, is a short drive away. Visit Crantock, Mawgan Porth, Lusty Glaze and Watergate Bay, stopping off for a leisurely lunch in one of the beachside cafes.
Head to Mevagissey with its quaint windy streets and pretty harbour. Hire a bike and enjoy the scenic cycle trail along the Camel Estuary to Padstow. For gardeners there are the nearby gardens of Heligan, Caerhays, Trewithen and the Eden Project to visit, while closer to home the popular Polgooth Inn offers a warm welcome and good food if you fancy stopping off on your way home for supper. You will be spoilt for choice of places to visit and things to do.
