Welcome to Nellie's Nook, a delightful little hideaway nestled in a secluded spot close to Dartmoor National Park. Ideal for that romantic escape for two, or a tranquil solo getaway with the dog in tow, you're sure to fall in love with the charm of this beautiful shepherd's hut.

Nestled in its own private spot, with glorious views of the fields and the countryside, Nellie's Nook is quite simply the dream. Step inside the bespoke hut to find wonderfully charming and spacious interiors, with a sumptuous king-size bed (inviting you to enjoy leisurely lie-ins) with storage underneath, a comfortable sofa and a sweet little kitchen-area, complete with a hob, toaster, fridge, kettle, cafetiere, radio and oven. There's even an indulgent Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate maker - ideal for those cosy evenings in perched around the wood-burner. The owner kindly provides Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate sachets - so you don't need to bring your own! You'll also find the stylish shower-room within the hut.

The outside space really is wonderful and enclosed. Here you'll find a dreamy log-fired outdoor bathtub, deck chairs perched around the barbecue fire-pit and a pretty table and chairs. This is the perfect spot after a day of exploring; pour a glass of something special to toast to your holiday, watch the sheep and cattle graze in the fields and admire the beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the deck chairs, before hopping in the outdoor bathtub for a starlit soak. Sounds perfect to us…

Your location is made for adventures. With Dartmoor National Park on your doorstep, you can easily while away blissful days exploring the glorious moorland, visiting the lovely towns and villages nearby, and enjoying plenty of stunning rural views. Tavistock is a delightful town and a great spot for farmers markets, excellent restaurants and lovely shops, and Calstock in the Tamar Valley is full of charm - certainly worth a visit for its wonderful riverside walks.

If you fancy heading to a city, Plymouth is not too far away. Explore the beautiful Barbican and pay a visit to Royal William Yard for water sports, cocktail bars, bakeries and restaurants.

And if the coast is calling, the golden sand beaches along Cornwall's north and south coast make for a fantastic day trip - head to Portwrinkle, Kingsand or Looe on the south coast, and Bude, Boscastle and Port Isaac along the north.
