Ms Douglas April 2025

Another very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Swn y Mor, during an unseasonably warm late April. Was lovely to be able to spend so much time in the garden in the evenings, as it was so warm. Did some good coastal walks between Strumble Head, Porthgain, Whitesands and Porth Clais, and excellent meals at The Shed. Looking forward to coming back. ...

A well equipped cottage, cosy and nicely decorated. Ease for costal walks.

See above Overall the cottage came up to our expectations - it was the fourth time we have stayed there. We love the area, the quiet location of the cottage, it’s views, overall condition and facilities. While it’s a quality cottage, we have been disappointed to find that, despite a stable internet connection at the cottage, the television remains very old fashioned with very limited channel availability and with no streaming services. Not every guest wants to, or is able to, go out every evening so the TV facility is important and should be commensurate with the overall quality and pricing of the property. Wow! Swn Y Mor must really tick all the boxes taking that this is your fourth visit! St Davids' peninsula is such a beautiful region with a wonderfully dramatic coastline and charming villages such as Trefin so it is easy to see how this can become the perfect location for your holidays. We're sorry the television was limited and understand the owners are replacing it next week when they visit. Similarly, they have purchased new linen, and this will replace the old synthetic bedding. We would love to welcome you back for your fifth visit. Sarah, Customer Support...

Perfect place to be away from it all, but still close enough to all of the Pembrokeshire coast. Very comfortable cottage.

Sound of the Sea is a well appointed, comfortable cottage with a lovely conservatory, summer house and garden. We ate in the conservatory most nights and relished the long, light evenings to enjoy the view. The cottage is well located on the Pembrokeshire coast, close to the coast path and ideal for friends or family wanting to explore this delightful part of Pembrokeshire. The picturesque hamlet of Porthgain with a fish bistro and gastropub is only a couple of miles away....
