TwinEnjoy a blissful coastal break in St Harmon, a superb three-storey property with luxurious hot tub, located in one of the prettiest harbour villages in Wales, in Upper Solva, nestling within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The ideal destination to explore this magnificent area, adorned with spectacular beaches along the dramatic coastline. Within a five minute walk down into Lower Solva, seek the delights of this picturesque village. Browse the boutique shops and galleries, choose from a choice of good pubs and cafes, at low tide take a dip at the far end of the harbour or take a picnic to sheltered Gwadn Beach. Children love crabbing off the quay wall, exploring the rock pools or playing in the sand.
The beautifully presented accommodation sleeps 10 over three floors, ideal for family, friends and special celebrations. Everything has been considered for sheer comfort and enjoyment. On the first floor discover the breathtaking views of St Brides Bay from the large sitting-room windows. Slide open the doors of the Juliet balcony for a cooling breeze on a summer's day and take in the splendour of the shimmering sea and rural landscape. Spend time together watching a movie on Netflix or playing board games after a day in the fresh sea air. Next to the sitting-room is the open plan kitchen and dining area, with large table, ideal for leisurely holiday meals. From the kitchen are five steps down to the rear sunny terrace, which is also accessed via a path on the side of the house. This is the ideal spot to relax together in the sunshine or soak in the soothing warm water in the hot tub, blissful after a day's walking and the perfect way, to end the day on a starry night.
The bedrooms are a joy. On the second floor is the principal king room. The panoramic views across St Brides Bay are breathtaking. Relax, whilst gazing out to sea or take in the wonder of the magnificent sunsets. On this floor a twin room is also located, both rooms share a luxurious bathroom. On the ground floor are three further en suite bedrooms, a double, a king and a twin room. All bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes and plenty of storage space.
Two dogs are welcomed free of charge at St Harmon.
Largers parties might wish to book Harmon Vale (6015) next door, which also accommodates ten guests.
Whether it's a laid-back break you're looking for or something more adventurous, Solva and the surrounding area has something for everyone. The harbour is popular for kayaking. boating and paddle boarding. Try coasteering with TYF in St Davids, boat trips, where dolphins may be spotted in the bay. A surfer's paradise are the beaches at Newgale or Whitesands. About a mile from Solva in Middle Mill, is one of the oldest woollen mills. Watch the weavers on the looms making an array of beautiful items which are sold in the mill shop. Just a short drive away is the enchanting small city of St Davids where you will find a choice of boutique shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. The magnificent cathedral is worth a visit. Throughout the year musical events are held. Family attractions include Dr Beynon's Bug Farm, near St Davids. In the south of the county, families enjoy a day at Folly Farm and Manor Park.
The local shop, just around the corner from St Harmon, Bay View Stores offers a treasure trove, is a well-stocked grocery store and much more. There's a bakery, Post Office, butcher's section, deli and delicious seafood. Larger supermarkets are found in St Davids and Haverfordwest. Try a riverside meal in the Hats and Barrels or Mamgu's welsh cakes in the local tearooms.
With so much to offer, it's not difficult to see why guests return to St Harmon. Regardless of the season a memorable Pembrokeshire holiday awaits.
