From the moment you step onto the ferry your Island escape will begin and there is something rather special about sailing over the Solent. Seaview is located on the eastern side of the Island, with all you'll need on the doorstep. Firstly, the beaches; you will be spoilt for choice here as there are three to choose from. The main Seaview beach consists of sand and shingle; a long pretty beach stretching from the village to Puckpool Park at low tide. Ideal for families, this beach has lovely views across the Solent and sea forts. Seagrove Bay is a mere stroll away, a crescent of golden sand and ideal for swimming and paddle boarding. The local stables exercise horses there and it is a wonderful sight to see them enjoying the beach. For some peace and tranquility, a boardwalk leads to Priory Bay from Seagrove, a blissful spot and perfect for relaxing.

Call at Lily's Cafe in the village centre for freshly brewed coffee, cakes, home cooked breakfast and lunch. They can even sort out sandwiches for your beach picnic too. For dinner, The Seaview Hotel has a fine dining restaurant and a bar with seafaring decor for drinks and bar meals. The Old Fort is situated on the sea front, where you can dine in rustic surroundings watching the tide ebb and flow whilst enjoying the freshest of seafood. Dining in? No problem, the local Community Shop has a good selection of local produce and holiday essentials.

The Island has a plethora of fabulous walks, woodlands and beaches to explore, and you will also find some wonderful places to visit including Osborne House, once home to Queen Victoria, Quarr Abbey, home to Benedictine monks and the iconic Needles where you can take a chair lift to the beach and a cruise for a close-up view. However you plan to spend your getaway, Pebbles has everything you'll need for a happy Island escape.
