Right in the heart of Seaview village, this semi-detached property has been completely renovated with a Skandi theme to offer a wonderful place to stay on the Isle of Wight. Just a few minutes' walk from the seafront, Seaview Yacht Club and a choice of places to eat, Fernsdale has everything you could wish for in a holiday by the sea.

There is a charming courtyard garden with outdoor seating and barbecue, complete with outdoor shower to rinse off the sand between your toes. The ground floor is mainly open plan, the fully fitted kitchen leads through to a spacious, light and airy sitting/dining-room with a log-effect gas fire as a focal point. There is a lovely large dining-table to enjoy family mealtimes and plenty of soft seating to relax, enjoy a film or snuggle around the fire on cooler evenings. The first floor is accessed via a spiral staircase, younger ones in the family please take care. The three bedrooms have been beautifully decorated, two doubles and a bunk bedroom with an additional single bed for flexibility; there's a complementary colour scheme and design throughout the whole property. The family shower-room is also on the first floor with a large shower cubicle; a further toilet and wash-basin are on the ground floor. There is parking for one car at the side entrance of the property.

Seaview is an idyllic Edwardian resort located in the north eastern corner of the Island. The beaches surrounding the area are well-known for their white sands and ideal swimming conditions. Priory Bay is about a ten minute walk from the village centre but can only be reached at low tide, a particularly stunning tree-lined beach it's a favourite for barbecues on summer evenings.

Seagrove Bay lies between Priory Bay and the village, and has the ideal combination of sand and rocks, perfect for a spot of crabbing and rock pooling. The village is bustling with activity in the summer months, however the Island is a fantastic place to stay at all times of the year with long coastal walks and pub lunches to enjoy. The Seaview Hotel is located in the High Street and has an outdoor seating area to the front with sea views over the Solent. There is a cosy back bar, plus a more formal dining-area, something for all occasions. The Old Fort pub is right on the sea front, it has a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere specialising in locally-caught seafood, a great place for a spot of lunch or dinner. The village is also home to several other cafes and a delicatessen, so there are plenty of choices to get your ice cream from!

The town of Ryde is only a short drive away with more eateries to choose from and boutique shops to peruse. Fernsdale is a great base to explore the Island's delights from.
