Perfectly located in the charming village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight, with wonderful Solent views and the luxury of a private heated swimming pool, Shore House is a delightful three-storey holiday home, ideal for a family holiday or a getaway with friends. Situated on Seaview Duver, with the beach across the road and the village centre a five-minute stroll away, Shore House has all you need for a wonderful holiday. The ground floor is home to a cosy sitting-room, stylishly furnished and ideal for watching a movie after a busy beach day. The kitchen/diner has a table for sociable mealtimes and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you will need, including the all-important dishwasher. A handy shower-room is also on the ground floor, ideal for rinsing salty toes. Climb the stairs and you will find two comfortable bedrooms (a double and a twin). The double room has a wonderful balcony overlooking the Solent where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view! A spacious family bathroom, perfect for a long soak is also on this floor. A staircase leads to the second floor with king-size double bed and a well-placed sofa in front of Velux windows taking in delightful sea views (please note the restricted head height). Through patio doors to the rear, Shore House has a wonderful outside garden with patio area and blissful, heated swimming pool. With chunky wooden tables and chairs for al fresco dining and the pool for a refreshing dip, this secluded spot is simply magical and a delightful place to spend time relaxing from dawn until dusk.

Shore House is in a fabulous position, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Seaview beach and a short stroll to the centre of the village. If you decide to eat out head to Lily's cafe for excellent coffee and fresh pastries or perhaps sandwiches for your beach picnic. The Seaview Hotel has a traditional seafaring bar, bursting with memorabilia and a charming restaurant for fine dining. The Old Fort is situated on the seafront, with eclectic furnishings and a menu including freshly caught fish, book ahead because it's a popular spot for lunch and dinner. If you decide to eat in, the local community shop has a good choice of home grown produce, fresh baked goods and holiday essentials. Beach goers will be spoilt for choice with three beaches in walking distance to choose from. Across the road from Shore House, Seaview beach is sand and shingle, with rockpools to the western side, great for family days out. Seagrove Bay is a wonderful beach at low tide and ideal for swimming or perhaps walk along the board walk to lesser-known Priory Bay, always peaceful and a great place to relax. (The pool is open from the beginning of May to the end of September). If you decide to explore further afield try Bembridge, a charming village with a good selection of independent shops, cafes and an excellent bakery. Bembridge is blessed with an impressive five miles of beach, although watch the tide times as some of it disappears at high-tide. Take a look at the iconic lifeboat station here, or the windmill, the last remaining one on the Island. Osborne House should be on your "to do" list, once the home of Queen Victoria, now managed by English Heritage and a rather special place to visit. And don't forget to call in and say "hello" to the donkeys at The Donkey Sanctuary, a wonderful place to spend time. However you plan to spend your days, Shore House is perfectly placed for all your Island adventures.
