Nestled in a quiet location just moments from the coast path and Portscatho village centre, Bay Tree is a cosy and welcoming, detached single-storey holiday home, with pretty gardens and a delightful rear deck. Whether you are looking for a quiet couples escape or a family holiday, Bay Tree is perfect for everyone, and even the family dog is welcome to join you.

Step inside and you will be welcomed with light and bright interiors and oak floors throughout the living space. The kitchen/dining-room has all the equipment you'll need, including the all-important dishwasher - because who wants to do the washing up on holiday! The dining-table sits to the far side of the room, ideal for sociable dining or chatting whilst the chef prepares supper. The sitting-room is such a cosy spot for relaxing after a busy day and French doors lead from here onto the wonderful deck where you can sit in the morning sunshine and enjoy your coffee. A separate utility-room is home to a washing machine and tumble-drier.

There are two bedrooms, a double room with king-size bed and a twin-bedded room, ideal for either children or adults. You will also find a shower-room and a bathroom with bath and hand-held shower, so no queuing for facilities here.

Outside, Bay Tree has a well-kept front garden with grassed area and mature shrubs alongside parking for two cars and a small patio with garden bench which catches the evening sun, perfect for al fresco dining and that all important sun downer.

Situated on a quiet residential street, the village centre is a mere ten-minute stroll away with a charming harbour where you can hire paddle boards and kayaks, and good selection of independent shops and eateries. Head to Tatams for excellent freshy brewed coffee and cakes with fabulous views across the bay or The Boathouse Restaurant, a licenced cafe where food is local sourced. The village is also home to The Plume of Feathers, serving traditional locally sourced food and a cosy wood-burner to keep you cosy in cooler months.

Walkers will be spoilt for choice with so many wonderful trails close by. The coast path is mere stone's throw away with the Hidden Hut and Porthcurnick Beach within easy reach, or head for St Just in Roseland, a rather magical place overlooking a tranquil cove with a beautiful church and gardens.

The vibrant village of St Mawes is a short drive away where you will find a good selection of places to eat, from the freshest fish and chips eaten from paper on the seawall overlooking the bustling harbour, to fine dining at the rather elegant Tresanton Hotel. Take the seasonal passenger ferry from here to the maritime town of Falmouth or explore more secluded spots like Place.

Further afield but definitely worth a visit, The Eden Project with its mighty biomes invite you to enjoy a sub-tropical oasis and botanical gardens, or perhaps head to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, lost in time since WWII and now an award-winning estate with over 200 acres of garden and farmland.

However you plan to spend your magical holiday time, Bay Tree is perfect for exploring all the Roseland Peninsula has to offer.
