The quaint village of Portscatho is the perfect place to visit for a traditional Cornish getaway and Willow's Place can be found on the edge of the village just a hop, skip and a jump away from the fabulous coast path and a stroll away from the pretty village centre and timeless harbour. Portscatho is a much sought-after village with all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday. The village has a good selection of traditional shops and eateries with Tatam's serving arguably the best freshly brewed coffee on the Roseland alongside the freshest of pastries, all served on the harbour wall overlooking Gerran's Bay, and the Italian bar and pizzeria Tavola where you can dine in or takeaway, ideal for a self-catering holiday!

You are welcomed to Willow's Place by the pretty front garden. Parking for one car is available in front of the garage and access to the front door is either up a flight of seven steps or by using the alternative path without steps to the rear door. A bench outside the front door invites you to sit with your morning coffee and watch the world go by. The interiors of Willow's Place are a delight and created to offer contemporary living with comfort in mind. The spacious sitting-room is light and inviting, beautifully decorated in muted pastel tones and accompanied by nautical touches giving a nod to the seaside location. A wood-burner will keep you warm during cooler months making this the perfect year-round destination.

The kitchen/diner can be found at the rear of the property overlooking a pretty meadow field with views towards Gull Rock and beyond. This super sociable space is simply lovely, with dove grey kitchen units and all the equipment you will need to create a culinary delight. The dining-area is gorgeous, dual-aspect windows adding light and panoramic views. A Smart TV is ideally placed to entertain everyone after a busy day and statement lighting finishes off this room perfectly. The convenient utility-room leads off the kitchen and this is home to the washing machine and drier whilst also providing storage space for all your holiday essentials. The owners' dog Willow has very kindly left a jar of dog biscuits to share with your four-legged friend.

Down a short flight of steps the snug awaits and this cosy area has a comfy sofa alongside a second wood-burner. Patio doors lead outside from here to the secluded patio and this peaceful area lends itself to al fresco dining from dawn until dusk. Why not try out your barbecue skills on the Kamado ceramic egg barbecue in the Cornish sunshine!

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, a pretty twin room ideal for either adults or children and a lovely double room with views over the meadow. The family bathroom has a fabulous free-standing bath and a large shower so you can choose between a soak or a refreshing shower after a busy beach day. A separate WC and wash-basin can also be found on the ground floor.

Take the stairs from the sitting-room to the first floor where you will find spacious bedroom three with a comfy king-size bed and two armchairs, perfect for a quiet holiday read. This room is light and bright thanks to three Velux windows and the fabulous view from here looks down towards the sea with Gull Rock in the distance.

Whether you are looking for a Cornish break with family or a group of friends, Willow's Place has everything you need for a perfect getaway.

Portscatho is a real gem in the crown of the Roseland peninsula, with stunning beaches, miles of coast path, a traditional harbour and village centre all yours to explore. The Hidden Hut is a short stroll away along the coast path where you can sit overlooking Porthcurnick beach on wooden benches and enjoy the freshest of local produce. Follow the path further along the coast and discover miles of fabulous scenery, sandy beaches and hidden coves. St Just in Roseland is a short journey away and a visit to the church overlooking the tranquil bay should not be missed: described by John Betjeman as 'to many people the most beautiful churchyard on earth', the gardens are a sheer delight. For a traditional cream tea at St Just, Miss V's is a must, jam before cream of course!

Visit St Mawes for its vibrant harbour and plentiful eateries where you can choose between fine dining at waterside restaurants along with enjoying fish and chips from the paper sitting on the harbour wall watching the water world go by. Water sports lovers should hire a kayak or paddle board and enjoy discovering the many coves and inlets around the harbour or perhaps take the passenger ferry to Falmouth for a day out in this maritime town.

Travel further afield and discover The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the mighty biomes of the Eden Project or perhaps one of many gorgeous country houses and gardens such as Trelissick, Trewithen or Caerhays.
