Stunning cottage, our second stay in Portreath (first was at the equally impressive cottage next door at Rock). The cottage has everything you could wish for and was spotlessly clean. A welcome gift of flowers, milk, scones, jam and clotted cream, perfect refreshments for after a long journey. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed sitting and relaxing watching the waves and the comings and goings on the beach and harbour. Portreath is a great spot with a shop, a superb bakery, some pubs and cafes, fish and chips, a Chinese takeaway and a surf hire shop. Walks and bike rides from the area are excellent and there’s so much to see and do nearby - we will be back again!...
