Stunning cottage, our second stay in Portreath (first was at the equally impressive cottage next door at Rock). The cottage has everything you could wish for and was spotlessly clean. A welcome gift of flowers, milk, scones, jam and clotted cream, perfect refreshments for after a long journey. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed sitting and relaxing watching the waves and the comings and goings on the beach and harbour. Portreath is a great spot with a shop, a superb bakery, some pubs and cafes, fish and chips, a Chinese takeaway and a surf hire shop. Walks and bike rides from the area are excellent and there’s so much to see and do nearby - we will be back again!...

Rockaway is a wonderful bolthole - in our case for a special occasion. From the moment we walked in we were swept up in the view and all took it in turns just to STARE out and reflect. We loved the comfort, the spec, the contemporary look and feel, the beds, the view, the walk to the beach being so easy, the body boarding, the view (did I already say that?) and just everything. Highly recommend and worth every penny. ...
