Sea Whisper is a spacious, recently refurbished, five-bedroom family home in the heart of Croyde on the north Devon coast, sleeping up to eight guests. Set within a large private garden with far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside, this wonderfully comfortable home offers generous living spaces and an excellent location for surfing, walking, golf and enjoying the great outdoors. With its flexible layout, it is particularly well suited to two families holidaying together or a multi-generational family looking for somewhere with plenty of room to relax.

Recently refurbished by its owners as their family home, Sea Whisper has been furnished and equipped with quality, comfort and practicality in mind. There is an exceptional amount of space for eight guests, with five bedrooms, three of which have en suites, with a further ground floor shower-room, family bathroom on the first floor, several sitting areas and a dedicated study. The layout works particularly well for family holidays, offering lovely communal spaces for time together as well as quieter corners when adults and children fancy doing their own thing.

At the heart of the house is the impressive open-plan kitchen, dining and living space. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for a full house, including generous preparation spaces, two ovens, a wine fridge and plentiful crockery, glassware and cooking equipment. The large dining-table provides the perfect gathering point for family meals, while the adjoining sitting-area offers a relaxed place to unwind. Large, glazed sliding doors open directly onto the garden and terraces, bringing the outdoors beautifully into the heart of the home.

Elsewhere, additional sitting areas provide even more flexibility. The comfortable Snug, complete with wood-burner, is perfect for curling up with a book, watching a film, or finding a quiet corner, while the dedicated Study offers a peaceful place to catch up on work during your stay.

The five bedrooms have been designed with comfort at the forefront, with good quality furniture, beds, crisp white linens and plenty of space to unwind. There are three en suite bedrooms and two additional bathrooms, ensuring ample room for everyone to get ready without the morning queues.

Outside is one of Sea Whisper's real strengths; the large, established and private garden features extensive lawns, mature planting and several terraces furnished with comfortable outdoor seating and dining furniture. With wide, open views across the surrounding countryside and hills, it is a lovely space for long lunches, lazy afternoons and relaxed evenings. There is also a hot tub and Weber barbecue, while the gated driveway provides generous off-road parking and electric vehicle charging.

Sea Whisper is particularly well-equipped for the kind of outdoor adventures Croyde does best. The purpose-built surf pavilion features two bespoke brass warm-water showers, wetsuit drying facilities and secure surfboard storage, making the transition from beach to home wonderfully easy. Whether you have spent the morning surfing, walked the coast or enjoyed a round of golf at nearby Saunton, there is a practical place for wet, sandy and muddy equipment.
