KingA beautifully stylish abode offering the ultimate retreat; just a 10 minute walk into Falmouth town centre or to the beach, this gorgeous ground floor apartment has been thoughtfully refurbished with comfort and charm in mind. This apartment blends contemporary elegance with a welcoming feel making it perfect for two and a dog.
The large, airy sitting-room is filled with light from the stunning bay window creating a really relaxing place to spend time; whether it be taking your time to enjoy your coffee with a good book on a lazy morning, or perhaps a game of scrabble at the end of the day. The owner has thoughtfully retained the lovely features such as the pretty ornamental fireplace and Victorian cornicing, really adding to the charm.
At the end of the on-trend pink hallway, and down two steps, you find the modern farmhouse-style kitchen/diner that opens out to the sunny courtyard. The kitchen is perfectly equipped for your every need but why cook when you have a plethora of amazing eateries all within easy walking distance of the apartment - two of our favourites are Seaview Inn and Provedore - their negronis are divine. The kitchen has been beautifully decorated with warming green units and modern tiles toprovide a calming space to spend time.
Beyond the kitchen is the beautifully designed wet-room where you can freshen up after exploring the coast path or surfing the waves. The bedroom promises a restful night's sleep, with king size bed dressed in crisp linens and decorated in calming tones and with high ceilings making this room one of tranquility at the end of the day.
The enclosed courtyard is just outside the kitchen door and offers a private sunny space; the bistro table and chairs set the tone perfectly for a quiet place to unwind in fresh coastal air for you and your pooch. This apartment also benefits from a private parking space for one car on the access road behind the property.
Perfectly placed for discovering what Falmouth has to offer - you might not need your car or could even easily arrive by rail. Falmouth has a bountiful selection of independent cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants to fill your every desire. Of course, being the art hub there are plenty of galleries, lots of live music, independent cinema etc all with the stunning harbour as the background. Hop on the ferry to St Mawes and if you are lucky see if you can spot some dolphins on the crossing (mostly seen in the winter). If the beach is for you, the Blue Flag beach of Gyllyngvase is only a 15 minute walk away where you can access the coast path and wander for miles.
This abode offers everything you might need for a holiday for two and a dog, and with so much to discover in Falmouth it is the perfect destination all year round, you will want to come back time after time.
