Suspended above the dramatic Atlantic horizon, with breathtaking sunrises and sea views stretching far beyond the garden gate, this characterful single storey cottage offers a wonderfully refined retreat in one of Cornwall's most iconic coastal locations. Perfectly positioned on the Lizard peninsula, it is a comfortable and practical cottage that ticks all the boxes for an idyllic holiday for friends and families seeking fresh air, freedom and a chance to really get away from everyday life.

The generous enclosed garden is a true highlight. Safe and spacious, it offers children room to play while grown-ups relax with a morning coffee, watching the light dance across the sea and skies. Set on the seaward side and a short walk from Tara (2327) run by the same friendly and helpful host, still offers ultimate privacy. Long, unhurried lunches turn into golden-hour suppers through to dusk. You can see the swing of the lighthouse on misty days, and the sense of openness here is immediate and uplifting.

Inside, the cottage is full of warmth and personality. The kitchen is well made and features Cornish granite and a Shaker style, complete with a dining-table. Comfortable, thoughtfully arranged living spaces make it easy to settle in, whether returning from a clifftop ramble or a day exploring hidden coves.

Being single-storey, the layout flows with ease which is ideal for multi-generational stays and relaxed family living. The magnificent king-size bedroom, with its breathtaking sea views that can be enjoyed from bed with your morning coffee features high quality oak furniture and an en suite shower-room that is also accessed form the bunk room.

Few places capture the imagination quite like The Lizard. A stones throw from your doorstep, you can join the breathtaking South West Coast Path and set off on captivating walks across rugged cliffs, wild heaths and headlands. The landscape here is famed for its rare flora, even rarer geology and ever-changing views of the sea and sky, and there is beauty and uniqueness in every season.

A particular highlight is nearby Kynance Cove with its turquoise waters and serpentine rock formations, one of Cornwall's most photographed and treasured beaches. The owners thoughtfully provide vouchers for the much loved cafe there, an iconic spot where a cream tea tastes all the more rewarding after a refreshing and inspiring clifftop walk.

Head in the other direction past the Lifeboat house, past Devils Frying Pan and into the chocolate box village of Cadgwith, which is home to a gorgeous traditional pub, with fishing boats still being winched up onto the shingles. An immersive and traditional experience.

The oak lined banks of the Helford are just a short drive away, Gear Farm will provide you with the most gorgeous Cornish pasty, and there is a world of its own awaiting to be explored here.
