Our team of Property Managers only take on properties that meet our exacting standards - yes our business is marketing holiday cottages, but people are the foundation of everything we do.
We make that extra effort – we’re particularly choosy when it comes to finding cottages and their owners, and we follow that up with regular inspections – we keep checking to make sure everything is above and beyond your expectations.
Underlying all of this, the real secret of our success is attention to detail.
- We worry that crockery and cutlery all match and we check every property for the 124 items on our Minimum Inventory every year – that makes 72,000 items of cutlery and crockery alone counted and checked each year!
- We insist that every property provides towels as well as bed linen.
- Our descriptions tell you everything you need to know to make sure the property you choose is the right one for you.
Don’t just take our word for it. An important part of our quality control process is the questionnaires you return to us after your holiday that really help us keep one step ahead of your expectations. We are also lucky enough to have had a few pats on the back from others which is great for keeping the awards cupboard stocked, but does mean a bit more dusting. One of our proudest accolades was when a 2012 survey of more than 2600 Which? Members (who named over 400 different self-catering agencies both in the UK and abroad) granted us Which? Recommended Provider status. We were one of only two UK companies to achieve this and we did it again in 2013, this time as one of only four Recommended Providers worldwide.
