The gorgeous village of Solva is a great place to explore and when you are in need of refreshments call in at The Harbour Inn, situated on the coast path and with charming views of the harbour. Expect award winning cask ales and a menu of pub classics.

Nearby beach

At low tide you will find a decent patch of sand backed by the slipway along this tidal inlet. Whilst this isn't the main attraction in Solva, it is a good safe place to paddle and there are rockpools and small caves further along the inlet. If you go around the headland there is a small pebble beach.

Nearby walk

Park in the main car park and footpaths lead along either side of the harbour. This beauiful area is perfect for walkers looking to explore the coast path in the UK's only coastal national park.

Nearby town

Solva is a tiny village with a good selection of cafes and shops. As a holiday location it's ideal, the beach is great for children with lots of rock pools and caves, and the harbour wall is the perfect place for jumping into the sea at high tide. Several footpaths lead to the Gribben where you'll find splendid views over the water.

Cafe on the Quay is perched on the harbourside, a short walk from the main car park in Solva. The views overlooking the quay are quite special if you sit outside on the deck, ideal for morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.

The pretty harbour at Solva is well worth a visit. At low tide there's a long sandy area surrounded by cliffs and some old lime kilns to explore. At high tide swimming is a popular pastime, along with jumping into the sea off the westerly harbour wall. There's a nice footpath along the harbour which is popular with walkers. Parking is available in the pay and display car park but it is quite small. There is additional layby parking up the hill. There's lots of local facilities in the village and a pub, cafe and toilets nearby.

Situated on the main street through the pretty village of Solva, The Cambrian Inn is a charming traditional pub with separate dining room and outside seating for alfresco dining in summer. The menu is created using locally caught seafood and other quality ingredients.
