Lovely little town with plenty of places to eat and drink, very nice shops too

Learn all there is to know about Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese through an interactive experience and watching cheese making from the viewing gallery. There's a gift shop so you can stock up on all things cheese and a lovely restaurant and garden.

Fantastic tour, really interesting and the shop and cafe and restaurant are excellent

This high moorland road between Wensleydale and Swaledale has breathtaking views from the summit and places to pull in so you can see the limestone potholes which give the pass its unusual name.

Home cooked food and real ales in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, the perfect combination! Open daily (apart from Monday's), this charming pub is located in the centre of the village.

Call in for breakfast, lunch and everything in between. There's inside and outside courtyard seating.
