The Cob, the largest of the three cottages, has slate flagstones in the hallway and wooden floors in the sitting-room and dining-room, with a wood-burner providing cosy warmth. There is some exposed stone and the original beams in the ceilings, and upstairs are three pretty bedrooms. A cot and highchair are available on request.

The wildlife at Leigh Farm, set in the beautiful Teign Valley on the south eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park, is particularly prevalent. Less common species of bird nest on the land, and there is a pretty water-course running through the courtyard, past a barbecue-area to a wildlife pond, where there are plenty of little creatures to look out for!

The owners of Leigh Farm have a small herd of alpacas and there are often sheep grazing on their 60 acres of land, but please take care that dogs are on a lead around livestock. Guests are welcome to explore the rest of the grounds close to Bovey Tracey, where your peaceful cottage, tucked away in a small hidden valley, will welcome you on return from your days adventure.

Each cottage is quite separate and very comfortably furnished. The Cob and The Forge (2677) are side by side looking over the delightful grounds, with each having its own small sitting-out area. The Granary (2760) is more private, set up above the other two cottages with an individual balcony.
