A wonderful private patio runs across more of the property with lovely views over the lawns of the main house. Outdoor chairs and a table are in situ during the warmer months. Note that this area will soon have some privacy screening added.

The parking for two cars is right next to the property and the wide parking area makes it easy to manoeuvre.
Dunster Castle is spectacular and a must see.
Exmoor is a particularly special place with so much variety.
The market town of Taunton has real history and lots to do.
East Quantoxhead beach is a unique experience and a fossil hunter's dream.
Watchet is a lovely seaside town with a great beach and pretty harbour.
The pretty traditional town of Wiveliscombe has some wonderful eateries.

KingThe Old Dairy is a warm and cosy conversion set in the picturesque rolling hills of north Somerset. It offers spacious accommodation for up to four guests and will really strike a chord with lovers of the great outdoors. Its location is prime for exploring and just 20 minutes gets you to the striking north Somerset coast, Exmoor National Park, historic Wiveliscombe and the county town of Taunton. Sitting on the edge of the Quantock Hills National Landscape (formerly known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), The Old Dairy makes for a very special base.
This home has been carefully thought through to provide plenty of space and natural light. Featuring two large bedrooms, an en suite, a lovely cosy sitting/dining-room and a wonderful kitchen, it has all you need for a perfect and peaceful rural escape.
The property is very accessible with ramps available on request for any steps, wide hallways and doors making it wheelchair friendly.
You enter via a wide hallway with the sitting-room off to your right (mind the step down here), this space is cosy and bright with plenty of comfy seats to rest your weary limbs after a day of exploring. The dining-area is perfect for four and looks out over the lovely lawns of the main farmhouse. The well-equipped kitchen is next with everything you would need to prep and cook up a feast or just a tasty bit of brunch.
Heading back down the hall you will find the very spacious family wet-room - the perfect spot to refresh and pamper.
The main bedroom is very spacious but also cosy and serene. The super-king bed (can be split into two singles) is the perfect spot to drift away peacefully, a great night's sleep is definitely on the cards. Off the bedroom is a generous en suite with bath and shower over.
Stepping outside you have two generous parking spaces as well as a wonderful private patio area. Why not just sit and gaze out over the sweeping front lawns of the main house with a glass of fizz and maybe get a visit from the owners' chickens. The lovely owners live in the main house near to The Old Dairy but are keen to give you your privacy. They can assist if you have any queries or questions.
When you do drag yourself away from this little slice of rural bliss you really have a wealth of nearby options to explore. If you fancy the coast then in 20 minutes you are in the quaint coastal town of Watchet, off to the west is the incredible Dunster Castle (really worth a visit) and to the east is the quite breathtaking East Quantoxhead beach - a fossil hunter's dream. Inland you can be on the edge of Exmoor National Park in just 10 minutes, with its rugged beauty and the highest sea cliffs on the British mainland.
For shopping your nearest spot is the large market town of Taunton, just 20 minutes away. Closer to home there are some wonderful local pubs, why not try the The Bear Inn in Wiveliscombe or The Rising Sun in West Bagborough.
