KingLocated in the centre of the charming village of Croyde on the beautiful north Devonshire coast and just a short stroll away from the beach, Hills View is a spacious holiday home with superb large, well-kept gardens and countryside views.
With three large bedrooms and oodles of living space, this delightful abode is ideal for a family holiday or getaway with friends throughout the year and the family dog is welcome to join you too. The ground floor is home to a large sitting/dining-room with a Smart TV for the latest entertainment. The separate kitchen has a gas-fired Aga and electric hob and oven, along with the all-important dishwasher. A handy breakfast table is also in the kitchen.
Bedroom one with a double bed is on the ground floor and this room has the benefit of a shower cubicle and washbasin. There is also a handy family bathroom on this floor, perfect for a long soak after a busy beach day.
Climb the stairs and you will find two additional comfy bedrooms and a second family bathroom. Bedroom two has a 'zip and link' bed, giving the flexibility of having either a super-king size double or twin beds.
Outside, Hills View has a rather splendid large lawned garden which is fully enclosed and perfect for the family dogs and kids to let off steam. You will find a picnic bench, plus table and chairs for al fresco dining and a barbecue. A handy shed provides storage for your surfboards and bikes. With parking for three cars and plenty of space for all, this holiday home is perfect for a family holiday or friends looking for a getaway throughout the year.
With a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants, and the beach a short walk away, you many decide to simply enjoy your surroundings and stay close to home. If beach life is for you, surf lessons and the latest equipment can be found at several local surf shops. Walkers in the party should head for the coast path, with the most stunning sea vistas in either direction. There's also a selection of riding stables and this is a lovely peaceful pastime to try on holiday.
If you do decide to take your car out, further afield there are several award-winning golf clubs which take advantage of their coastal location. Saunton offers two championship 18-hole golf courses and is listed as one of the best in the UK, and Mortehoe and Woolacombe offers an exceptional headland nine hole course with superb panoramic views.
For a day of adventure on the water head to Ilfracombe and take a sea safari to explore the coast, or Bideford where a passenger ferry plies the waters to Lundy Island.
However you choose to spend your blissful holiday days, north Devon is a wonderful place for a getaway.
