TwinWith its charming red brick facade and lawned garden with hot tub, this delightful beach cottage makes for a fabulous base in Croyde and is just a short stroll away from the stunning beach and village centre.
Step inside this cosy gem of a house and into the main living area, which benefits from a separate snug too. The main sitting-room boasts French doors leading out to the patio and garden beyond, making it a lovely spot to relax. Come evening time, pull down the blinds and snuggle into one of the smart grey-blue sofas for a film on the Smart TV with Sky. The snug is a fantastic reading nook. As if that weren't enough living space, you'll also find a separate children's snug area upstairs, decked out with bean bags, a TV and a Wii console. When it comes to relaxation and holiday downtime, Hartland View has got you all covered.
The cosy wooden kitchen/diner space is fitted with everything you need to eat well on holiday, including a large oven, hob, dishwasher and an American-style fridge/freezer designed for The Big Holiday Shop. There's also a dining-table set for up to ten, and beautiful French doors that let in plenty of natural light.
Hartland View has five bedrooms in total, with the first three - two doubles and a bunk bedroom with a single bed over a double - to the ground floor. Upstairs you'll find a further double bedroom, along with a twin bedroom.
There is a family bathroom on each floor, along with a separate shower-room off the utility room which has a washer and a drier. The downstairs bathroom has a bath along with twin basins and a shower. The fresh vibe, clean white walls and neutral tone tiles make this bathroom a wonderful place for a soak after a day spent adventuring around north Devon. Or if that's occupied, no matter. Simply head upstairs, the family bathroom here is decorated in soothing powder blue and the bath has a handy shower attachment to boot.
Outside the garden features a lovely patio terrace with an outdoor table and chair set, along with a coal barbecue perfect for holiday burger night. Theres also a lawn to play on and the enclosed space makes it ideal for those travelling with children or dogs. Best of all, though, is the hot tub, overlooking the pretty planted garden and countryside views beyond. It's the perfect place to soothe achy muscles after a challenging coastal walk. Or simply kick back and look at the stars.
You'll also find an outdoor shower area along with smart board storage and a wetsuit drying area. To the front of Hartland View you'll find driveway parking for up to two cars, with extra parking available in the village car park.
Just a ten minute walk to both the village and beach, Hartland View is perfectly placed for enjoying both quaint village culture and beach life. Head down to the renowned shoreline and learn how to surf like a pro or go on a rockpool ramble to learn more about local marine wildlife. Or kick back and do nothing - it's your holiday!
If you feel like a bit of activity, you can't beat the coast path around here. Pack a picnic, don your hiking boots and hit the trail. There's plenty to see, why not head up to Baggy Point and take in the dramatic coastal landscape? You might even spot a seal! If wildlife is your cup of tea, you can't beat a day trip over to Lundy Island where you might even get lucky enough to see their nesting puffins. An experience the whole family will reminisce over for years to come.
Further afield, north Devon has activities to keep everyone smiling. Whether you'd like to play a round (or two) of golf, go wine tasting at a local vineyard or seek out thrills at a theme park, however you choose to spend your time, Hartland View makes for a brilliant coastal retreat.
