Take the short walk down the coastal path to this charming get-away-from-it-all coastal retreat and prepare to be blown away by the spectacular views that appear right before you - it's simply stunning. Perched high on the cliff at Freathy, on what has to be one of the best locations on the cliff, you'll have a bird's eye view of the beach below and uninterrupted far-reaching views of the unspoilt coastline and shimmering azure blue waters of Whitsand Bay.

While away your days walking the coastal path, having fun on the beach, exploring this unspoilt corner of Cornwall or simply relaxing in the garden or dining al fresco on the terrace soaking in that view. When daylight fades and the sun has produced a spectacular sunset for you, let the night sky delight with the twinkling canopy overhead; it's what holidays are all about?

Perfect for families and couples alike, with your four-legged friends in tow, laid back living is the order of the day in this traditional whitewashed cabin with accents of blue that perfectly complement the setting. The patio doors from the sitting/dining-room perfectly frame the view whether you are enjoying a leisurely brunch at the dining-table, prepared in the cute cabin kitchen, or snuggled up on the sofa. When you want to get a little closer to the view, simply open up the patio doors and enjoy the space outside in the large garden and patio area.

When it's time for bed, the pretty twin bedroom will delight younger members of the group and taking pride of place at the front of the cabin is the double bedroom, where the sound of the sea will soon send you off to the land of nod.

Sherborne is located in what is often referred to as the 'forgotten' corner of Cornwall - the area is beautiful, unspoilt and waiting for you to create memorable holiday moments. There are various tracks that lead from the cliffs (please take care) down to over three miles of fabulous sandy beach - you won't be disappointed - or enjoy a leisurely walk or a really good leg stretch along the coastal footpath, it's right on your doorstep.

For some fun for all the family, try your hand at paddleboarding, coasteering or surfing. Never done it before? Book a lesson at the Adventure Bay Surf School, which you can find a short walk along the cliff. Spend the day at nearby Mount Edgcumbe where once you have explored the house, gardens and over 850 acres of parkland, you can take the alpacas on a trek, ride a segway or have a go at disc golf - it's great fun. Charming Cornish villages and towns are plentiful. The working fishing town of Looe provides traditional seaside charm where you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing and the pretty twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand provide a real step back in time, with colour washed cottages, narrow streets and a seemingly disproportionate number of pubs and cafes!

And if you prefer more grandeur, head for the historical houses and gardens of the Port Eliot and Antony Estates. Whatever you choose to do, at the end of the day you know your special cliffside paradise is waiting for you to return.
