Welcome to The Lean To, an absolutely stunning hideaway for two with a wonderfully distinct style that is beautifully complemented by the rugged landscapes that surround it. This fabulous retreat used to be an old threshing barn and has been lovingly restored using local timber into a gorgeous home-from-home, the perfect base for adventures in the lovely Welsh countryside.

Enter through the fabulous bi-folding door and you'll be greeted by a gorgeous open-plan living space. High ceilings give this compact cabin a luxurious charm while the beautiful array of rich materials creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. The owner was inspired by Japanese interiors when furnishing the cabin and the stylish fittings and antique embellishments are a joy to discover. A magnificent wooden dining-table sits proudly in the middle of the room, ideal for relaxing suppers after a long day of exploring. To the right, you'll find the brilliantly designed kitchen area, which beautifully integrates a two ring induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher seamlessly into the rich wooden cabinets.

More stunning antique furniture can be found at the rear of the cabin, arranged into an inviting sitting-area perfect for snug evenings in - you could delve into one of the many books that are provided for your enjoyment. A compact shower-room makes up the ground floor accommodation, ideal for a refreshing start after a good night's sleep.

Venture up the impressive staircase and you'll find the bedroom. The sloped timber ceilings (please mind your head) and pastel earthy tones create a perfect relaxing atmosphere to enjoy before settling down on the indulgent king-size bed. In the mornings, wake to the sun creeping in through one of the many windows dotted around the room and treat yourself to a spot of breakfast in bed.

On the other side of the staircase sits the rather special bathtub. This sublime tub completely fills a little hideaway located above the sitting-area. With opaque windows, privacy is ensured and it's very easy to spend hours in this absolutely gorgeous space.

As well as a glorious interior, The Lean To also comes complete with a charming outside space to enjoy. A delightful wooden fence encloses the little garden which features a lovely sitting-area - perfect for al fresco breakfasts - as well as a pretty array of flowers and plants.

The Lean To is a semi-detached property and there is also one other hideaway on site, The Cabin (5130), but your privacy is always respected.

The Lean To is located in a fabulous location, with stunning landscapes within easy reach that are just waiting to be explored. A hike up Hanter Hill is a great way to spend the day with spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons and beyond at the peak. If you fancy another walk head over to the Famous Pen y Fan for breathtaking views of the rugged countryside. For a cosy pub, The Harp is within walking distance and is a firm favourite of the owners! The pretty little village of Pembridge isn't far and is a great place to stock up on local produce. Finally, the Red Kite Feeding Centre in Rhayader makes for a brilliant family day out!
