The cosy wood burner, flanked by two inviting armchairs draped with soft furs, is the perfect spot to unwind with a good book, after a day wandering through the nearby town of Hay-on-Wye, where the shelves of its infamous independent bookshops will have surely tempted you with new literary treasures to get lost in.
Nearby, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen cabin with all the essentials - fridge, hob, toaster, and kettle - plus a cheerful yellow table for indoor dining. When the sun is shining, dine al fresco in the sheltered dining area, surrounded by wide skies and meadow views.
The green horsebox situated alongside the Tipi provides your bathroom facilities, complete with toilets and twin sinks, and just steps away, you’ll find a dedicated outdoor shower - the best way to refresh and reenergise before setting off on a day of adventure in the Herefordshire countryside.

Be sure to seek out the Hornbeam trees- the namesake of this special Tipi - scattered throughout the grounds.

Hike the dramatic peaks and hidden valleys of the Brecon Beacons, follow the area’s famous waterfall trail to discover four breathtaking cascades, including Sgwd yr Eira where you can walk behind the curtain of water. Or take a trip into the area’s plethora of quintessential towns and villages. Stroll the cobbled lanes of Ledbury with its boutique shops and cake-filled cafés. Or head to the architectural treasure trove of Ludlow, where you’ll find streets lined with some of the finest examples of Medieval and Georgian architecture.
