Zip and linkThis unique clifftop home has magnificent sea views over Polurrian Cove, Mullion Island and the dramatic Atlantic Ocean. Found down a single unmade lane, the view will reveal itself as you reach your destination - it really has the 'wow' factor.
Mor Ros really is the most amazing place; each room in this fabulous house really makes the most of this spectacular outlook.
Entering onto the large landing, the stairs split; downstairs you will find the large open plan living space which is filled with light and is a wonderful place to spend time, even the view from the kitchen sink is quite impressive. In the summer months open the bi-fold doors onto the terrace and extend into the garden with the salty air in your lungs. In the winter months, sink into one of the large three-seater sofas or snuggle in an armchair and watch the waves crash over the rocks from the comfort of your fireside spot.
The ground floor also boasts a lovely annexe with doors out into the garden, this is perfect for party members wanting some of their own space. This space has 'zip and link' beds so can be configured as either a super-king double or twin beds, along with its own shower-room and of course a sitting-area with cosy armchairs to enjoy a book in a bit of peace and quiet, or perhaps this might be the perfect den for teenagers. There is also a handy utility-room with separate WC on the ground floor, which you can access from within the property and via the back door.
Upstairs, you will find three luxurious bedrooms and a family bathroom - please watch your head on some of the low beams. The large main bedroom is to die for; enjoy breathtaking views from your bed, or a leisurely coffee in your armchair taking in the ever-changing view. This bedroom also has a lovely en suite shower-room. Not to worry, the second double bedroom also has stunning sea views too! Up a little step (please watch your toes) into the final bedroom, featuring 'zip and link' beds which overlooks the rugged moorland of the Lizard - each bedroom has a lovely outlook. The family bathroom is also on the first floor with a shower and separate bath, enjoy a leisurely soak gazing through the Velux looking at the stars.
The outside space at Mor Ros is just as incredible as the inside; a large terrace opens from the bi-fold doors which lead down to a huge lawned garden, stretch out and relax with a good book perhaps. There are paths running through the wild grasses and hidden corners sheltered from the wind. Find the gate at the bottom of the garden which leads onto a private lane towards the footpath to the beach. There is a handy outside tap in the garden which is perfect for washing off those sandy feet before coming back to rest at your holiday home. The owners have thought of all access details with a gentle slope leading from the car parking area to the terrace and doors into the ground floor bedroom for easy access. There is also a handy shed for storage of bikes or paddleboards.
If you want to leave this gorgeous retreat, take a stroll down the coast path to remote Polurrian beach which is about a 10 minute walk and only accessible by footpath. Enjoy sunny evening barbecues and watch the sun set, cool off in the blissful sea or watch dramatic waves crash on the rocks. The South West Coast Path is right on your doorstep, see if you can spot a Cornish chough or two on your adventures.
This fabulous location is only shared with two other properties, which makes it even more special. This isolated property is within close reach of some stunning destinations with Poldhu beach and Mullion Cove within easy reach along the coast path. Mullion village is a short drive away and has everything you might need. This is also the perfect location for exploring the dramatic Lizard peninsula with Kynance Cove and Lizard Point all within a 20 minute drive from the property.
