The coastal path takes you past St Mawes castle and brings you to the village where there are some outstanding local restaurants and pubs offering delicious locally-sourced food including the famous Hotel Tresanton. In the opposite direction the National Trust coastal path begins a few yards from the house and takes you on a delightful waterside walk to St Just in Roseland.
