This traditionally designed modern cottage, with period-style furnishings and fittings, is set close to the lovely village green at Gerrans in the heart of the beautiful Roseland peninsula and is less than a mile from the popular beach at Portscatho.

Inside the property, the sitting-room and sunny conservatory overlook the sheltered rear walled garden which has sun-loungers and a barbecue in addition to the garden furniture. The attractive limed-oak kitchen is well-equipped although you will be tempted to eat out at some of the many wonderful eateries in the area. There is a utility-room and downstairs shower-room beyond that can also be accessed from the garage and garden to keep on top of those sandy feet.

The three bedrooms and bathroom upstairs give great flexibility, with views towards the landmarks of Nare Head, Gull Rock and the Dodman from the double bedroom and view towards Gerrans Bay from the single room. This is a stunning area and some of Cornwall's most beautiful coves and fishing villages are all within very easy reach.

You could leave the car behind and set out on foot to tackle a section of the South West Coast Path – the best way to take in the unspoilt and dramatic coastline of the Roseland peninsula. Alternatively there are quiet creekside walks along the Percuil River.
