2 Old School Cottages was a very good base for our week-long holiday in early August. There are some great beaches, a couple within walking distance (Towan, Porthcurnick) and a couple a bit further away at Carne and St. Anthony's Head (Molunan). We stayed at 2 Old School Cottage for the second time & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotless clean & well equipped.The garden has a bistro set & loungers & a sturdy brolly & base which we needed as we had sunny weather.The cottage is in a perfect spot for visiting the beautiful area. The Standard Pub is just yards away & this is owned by the couple who own The Hidden Hut & both are very popular. Portscatho is just a short walk down the hill & the village is lovely.The shop has everything you need, there are places to eat & The Harbour Club has a balcony so we watched all activities on the beach & in the sea. Very relaxing....
