We had a great stay at Grey Gulls, a lovely comfortable modern town house which was spotlessly clean inside. Being on 3 floors there was a fair bit of stairclimbing to do but fine if you are reasonably fit. Off road parking was a real bonus. It was in a great location for exploring the eastern side of the island and Seaview is a lovely village with a few shops and a couple of nice pub/restaurants and a good beach and promenade walk on your doorstep. Ryde has everything else you might need and is only a 10 min drive and there is a regular bus service to all the other main towns. Lots to do nearby, and can recommend Quarry Abbey (where we saw quite a few red squirrels), Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, and walks on Culver Down....
