- The Stables
The Stables is a charming modern conversion tucked away on a quiet farm in the Blackdown Hills. Just next door is its sister property - The Byre - also available to book.
The living space is stunning, with its dramatic double height ceiling and wall of glass that lets the natural light pour in.
The kitchen is well thought out with all the fixtures and fittings you would expect from such a luxury conversion.
Each room has been carefully curated to create a sense of quality and calm.
Set within the glorious rolling Blackdown Hills National Landscape (formerly known as an Area of Outstanding National Beauty), The Stables is sympathetically woven into this most beautiful of landscapes.
The living space has been positioned to make the most of the paddock views and is quite the spot to relax, put your feet up and let the day drift by.
Conveniently located off the living area the high spec kitchen has all you need to cook up a storm or just enjoy a lazy brunch at the breakfast-bar.
Hints of the historic former stables are still on show and you will find the doors out to your private patio area lead straight off the living space.
The bedroom with its dual-aspect, sumptuous king-size bed and vaulted ceiling is the most wonderful place to lay your head. You will sleep well here...
Simple attention to detail is on show throughout with a focus on pared back luxury.
Natural light and the feeling of space has been the focus in this serene place. You will feel yourself unwinding from the moment you enter.
The en suite wet-room is styled to perfection with designer fixtures and fittings.
The large wet-room space is perfectly executed to provide a wonderful and invigorating power shower.
Why not make use of the cosy robes and slippers to accentuate that feeling of quiet rural comfort.
You even get a second extra spacious wet-room just along the hallway from the bedroom. Spoilt for choice!
Steps lead down from the front door and will also take you out to the parking-area and games barn.
As viewed from the paddock. The Stables has a wonderful private outdoor space, complete with sun-loungers, seating and a fire-pit. What a spot for peace, quiet and perhaps a spot of star gazing...
A lovely surprise is this wonderful games barn, ideal for a spot of fun or shelter on a rainy day. Note that use of this space just needs to confirmed with the very accommodating owners in advance.
Giving a sense of perspective with the parking area and games barn to the left, then The Stables, and to the right, its sister property (also bookable), The Byre.
So much green space to explore. Directly opposite The Stables is the paddock for you to enjoy and wander to your heart's content.
As the day winds down the soft lighting of The Stables creates such an inviting spot for some outdoor dining and a glass of something nice to watch the sun go down...
The sunsets here put on quite the show.
Perhaps the epitome of rural bliss amongst the backdrop of the Blackdown Hills...
