What a gorgeous little property this is. We needed a quiet getaway and Botloes Farm is just perfect. A very generous welcome pack was much appreciated and the barn had everything we needed, even the perfect sunny weather and temperatures to match for the whole week! Newent is a lovely little market town. A nice walk around the lake with the dog and exploring the town is a pleasant hour or two. Ross-on-Wye is also a lovely town. Lots of good independent cafes and shops. Pengethley farm shop, about 10 minutes away from there is possibly the best farm shop we’ve been to. Such great choice. Diddly Squat Farm shop was a good day out too. Eastnor Castle is a must. A beautiful castle and grounds and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Thank you for making our week away so much fun with lots of happy memories....

A unique and special barn conversion in a lovely and peaceful spot. A generous selection of provisions awaited our arrival and with our hosts nearby any questions were quickly answered. Loved the treehouse feel of the upstairs bedroom and coming out to snowfall on our first morning was an experience! The cottage is wonderfully warm with the help of the aga and wood burner, free logs are provided which is a bonus. Lovely choice of footpaths nearby and the town of Newent is only a few miles away. ...
