We had a really peaceful stay at Botloes Farm, the barn is opposite the owner’s house but you have full privacy. We loved picking apples and blackberries from the orchard to make a pie and had fun feeding the local pigs. The bedrooms were spacious and the en-suite bathrooms with baths were fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped, with a dishwasher, and it was nice to have a full sized freezer as well. Thank you to the owners for our generous welcome pack. We would love to stay here again. ...

Beautiful location, free to roam around the grounds. Particularly loved sitting by the big pond watching dragonflies. Accommodation was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Went in summer so didn't use wood burner but maybe another time. V close to lots of villages and farm shops. A very relaxing break....

A lovely country retreat with plenty of places to visit within half an hour's drive. Very cosy and the sheltered garden space makes the property private from the main house. May not be very suitable for people with mobility issues as second bedroom is up an outdoor staircase, and there is a step from the kitchen into the lounge and also into the downstairs ensuite. Newent (closest town) has a Co-Op supermarket and lots of takeaways, plus some very interesting independent shops to explore. All in all a very peaceful and relaxing retreat....

What a gorgeous little property this is. We needed a quiet getaway and Botloes Farm is just perfect. A very generous welcome pack was much appreciated and the barn had everything we needed, even the perfect sunny weather and temperatures to match for the whole week! Newent is a lovely little market town. A nice walk around the lake with the dog and exploring the town is a pleasant hour or two. Ross-on-Wye is also a lovely town. Lots of good independent cafes and shops. Pengethley farm shop, about 10 minutes away from there is possibly the best farm shop we’ve been to. Such great choice. Diddly Squat Farm shop was a good day out too. Eastnor Castle is a must. A beautiful castle and grounds and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Thank you for making our week away so much fun with lots of happy memories....
