Amazing place, very clean and comfortable. Everything is provided. Parking is a big problem, in the car park opposite all year round it’s £2.50 for an hour or £10.50 overnight but the barrier closes at 10pm.Their free parking on the road but can be tricky to park close to the property , Won’t put us off from coming back but will only return out of season. Apart from the parking it’s the best, most comfortable well thought out and best presented self catering we’ve ever stayed in. Awesome place ...

We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay at Cliffdene, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Unfortunately, being so close to the beach does mean parking can be a little tricky, but with the options of the carpark and the free on street parking where available, I am sure you will agree, its well worth it. Beautifully presented and equipped cottage in a wonderful location. Only bear in mind the parking situation, as this might not suit everyone, especially in high season. We love Portreath and have visited many times, but this is definitely the best place we’ve stayed. Portreath is a real community, not just visitors, so bear this in mind too, but everyone is really friendly....

Thanks for your lovely review - we're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Cliffdene. Whilst there is no parking outside the property, it is possible to pull up close to the property to unload. You can often find on road parking at quieter times, but if there are no spaces on the road, the ticketed car park is a very short stroll from the property. We hope to see you back again soon. Fab holiday home, location, view, comfort - all ace. As others have said parking is an issue but don’t let it detract from the house itself! Rear steps although less of, are in the form of a metal fire escape & our elderly dog refused to go anywhere near them so we had to carry him up the front steps ??...

Very comfortable cottage with exceptional views and access to the beach. There was everything you would need for your holiday come rain or shine, with books and games and TVs in each room. The kitchen area had a full range of kitchen equipment too. The location was very good with access to shops and eateries. I would say it’s not ideal for those with mobility problems due to access via steps and no parking on site....

Thank you so much for your kind feedback. We’re delighted to hear that Cliffdene was a great fit for your family and that you enjoyed the wonderful location. While there isn’t a private parking space, guests will find plenty of options in the public car park opposite, and roadside spaces are often available nearby. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! Julie, Customer Support...

Ms Howlett June 2025

Cliffdene is a beautiful property with fabulous views, right on the beach. I absolutely loved it and my dog had the best time too. Very much a dog friendly place to stay. The only slight niggle was dropping off and loading the car. The road is extremely narrow and hard to turn around on. Parking on nearby roads was not a problem. Highly recommend....
