The stay was breathtaking. The biggest plus of this accommodation is its location! The beach begins just a few steps from the terrace, and from both the terrace and the apartment's large windows, you can watch the sea, the tides, the harbor, and the activity in the parking lot and at the adjacent bars and restaurants. Passersby on the beach even compliment you on the house—what more could you ask for?...

Fantastic Stay - Would love to stay again. Expansive views from every part of the property - I have never felt so delighted at a choice of holiday cottage The location was unbeatable... the steps lead you down onto the sand. The property is nicely away from the hustle and bustle so you can focus on the waves, surfing and walks. Portreath has an exceptional bakery - frequent visits required ! The Pub next door is a real treat too and the salads in the Pod cafe were fantastic. The property is very easy to use and incredibly clean and well considered. ...

We loved the location at the edge of Portreath, and views across the bay. Proximity to coastal walks and local facilities ( excellent pubs!) was great. The area is crammed with awesome scenery, heritage and geological features. Being able to watch the beach and happy walkers, dogs, horse riders , surfers and bathers ( even in December) was priceless. The cottage has been refurbished tastefully in a modern/ industrial style, is well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was a very cold snap on out stay, with even snow, so the electric log fire was essential, and lovely to have as a focal point. The wifi and 3 TVs were excellent quality. The second bedroom and ensuite shower to main bedroom are definitely snug so might be best for 2 adults and children or two slim couples! Access for unloading luggage into Cliffdene does need to be considered, but having its own private staircase to the sandy beach makes up for this! We are a retired couple with one dog - we had a wonderful holiday and loved the cottage overall! ...

This was our 2nd visit to Cliffdene, it has fab sea views which you can’t beat & the sound of the sea will lull you to sleep. The house is immaculate, hosts were fantastic when we had a bit of a problem with wi-fi, we’re not very tech savvy! House has everything you need and is an ideal base for trips out to nearby beaches. Highly recommend & hope to be back soon ??...
