Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and well equipped. The outside space is a particularly pleasant area to sit, being a sun trap, even in March, and was very peaceful and much appreciated. The local area had good places to visit, including the wonderful Avebury, lovely market town of Marlborough; Malmsbury, which had beautiful walks around the town as well as the abbey; the charming village of Castle Coombe which also had lovely walks from the village. There were also several National Trust properties within easy driving distance. The M and S Foodhall in nearby Chippenham was also very convenient....

just back from a lovely 5 night stay at stable end and cant fault the property or the area. grittleton is like stepping back in time . fantastic pub 150 yds away for food and drink. definitely one to return to.

Everything about the property was spot on. Everything we needed was provided for and more. The cottage was exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean. The outside seating area was very comfortable and very well cared for. The village pub what is a two minute walk away and had a great atmosphere and served very good food...

Thank you so much for a lovely stay at Stable End. What a fantastic, clean, modern, fully equipped property. Just perfect for our mini break. The lovely high ceilings, gave a spacious feel and the modern decor was great, including a luxurious walk in shower. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard and eating at the nearby pub, which was just a stroll away. Thoroughly recommend. We will definitely be back!...

Had fantastic stay at Stables End, convenient for Bristol, Bath as well as small picturesque villages. Would highly recommend Neeld Arms for meals just 2 minutes walk away.
