Escape Away

We really enjoyed our stay a Escape Away the cottage was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated and had everything you needed. The garden space was nice to have as well. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The cottage was in an ideal location with easy access to the local beach and routes to explore the rest of the island. The property was very comfortable and very well equipped, we felt very much at home. The garden was lovely and all enclosed which was great for our two dogs. The parking space was at an angle but easy to navigate once you got used to it....

Beautiful cottage in easy walking distance of Colwell bay. Lovely outside space and hot tub.

Very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.

Great for families. Our second stay here and would return.

We loved Escape Away. Lovely decor and provided a fantastic base for a family holiday. We booked Driftwood next door at same time to accommodate all family members and both properties provided fantastic facilities for all ages from 10yrs to 83yrs as well as 2 dogs! Location was exceptional - beach short walk and even less when we used the shortcut. Yarmouth short drive away was superb and any other days out were no more than 45 mins drive. Having use of the pool on site was appreciated and well used by our party and the hot tubs in each property were a great touch. Escape Away had all amenities within it that you would need and was clean and well furnished. We did have a small number of minor problems (broken furniture) but we contacted Classic Cottages and these were partially resolved. Provision of parasols outside for shade would have been welcome and even through patio furniture is provided sun loungers would be far more suitable and make sitting outside on the decking more relaxing. The properties do need the sofas replacing as these were so uncomfortable and a little shabby looking. WI-FI is not broadband and is only mobile WI-FI so connectivity is not great and makes streaming difficult due to buffering/slow speeds. Smart TV’s in both bedrooms would be beneficial. That said, we weren’t inside much due to the glorious weather and views down in the beach. Despite being part of a resort the property was tucked away in a quiet area and there was no noise disturbance and it was a very peaceful location. Despite the minor issues we would definitely return and are looking for availability for 2027. ...

Fantastic cottage in a peaceful setting (despite being on a 'resort'). just a short walk to beach. Super comfy beds, plenty of outdoor space and fully equipped. Would def return.
