This is the lane down to the river and the cottages beyond. A short walk along here takes you into the main village.
Locally known for excellent food is The Arundell Arms in the village, a bit of a hill to get to it but downhill all the way home.

Within walking distance is a good pub.

A fantastic, warm and cosy cottage, in an idyllic location with both coast and moor in easy driving distance. We liked to have a Devon day and then a Cornwall day. Strawberry Fields Farm Shop was excellent. Thank you.

Lovely light and airy cottage in an idealic spot. The owners have done an excellent job of turning the barn into a perfect holiday cottage. We had some great walks on Dartmoor and on the cornish coast with the dogs who also loved the nearby river. The Lifton hall hotel serves great food and is only a short stroll from the cottage. The owners were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome....
