We stayed for 3 nights in October. We had a mix of all weathers and being on the edge of a cliff we loved that. Well equipped, clean and beautifully presented. Shower was fab and there are lots of little touches that are appreciated. Very well insulated and cozy. We took books but to be fair we spent most of our time gazing at the sea and if you happen to have a clear night we absolutely recommend checking out the sky in the early hours. Seeing shooting stars with zero light pollution was one of the many highlights. The access to the beach from the cabin was an adventure ha. I'm not a fan of heights but it is so worth it and it's really not that bad. Sensible shoes a must. There are ropes for the last bit down which helped alot. The beach is huge when tides out. We had it mostly to ourselves. I also proposed down there to my partner so now this stay is extra extra truly memorable. What more can I say? Awesome place!! We loved it and we are absolutely coming back. ...

Fantastic week at the Eagle. Definitely need to be relatively fit and agile to get down and up the cliff but well worth it. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Superb view. Appreciated the croissants, biscuits and milk on arrival and owners message asking if all ok. Cawsand and Kingsand close by and the Devonport Inn a must - great seats looking over the beach and a lovely pasty! A wonderful, relaxing week in a very special place....

We loved our stay at the eagle, which is most probably one of the hidden gems at classic.co.uk. In the front seat of the ocean in your own little house - but still close to pretty towns and beaches easily accessible. The perfect spot for those who simply want to recharge or just to embrace nature. ...

We had a fantastic stay at The Eagle for our honeymoon. The accommodation was really impressive, it had everything you could need despite being off-grid. The furnishings were lovely and modern, and we loved the log burner (we still used it despite being there in June!). We loved relaxing in the outdoor furniture taking in the views, and even spent more than we thought we ever would on the same table and chairs for at home! We weren’t overlooked by anyone, and not having a TV allowed us to take in the peacefulness and tranquility of the spot. The hosts were extremely accommodating to meet our needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Eagle to our family and friends, and so grateful to have been able to make special memories there as newly-weds....

This really is a gem of a find. It is cosy, well appointed, the WiFi is great (I worked here remotely during part of my stay), and the owner’s communication was excellent. The views are stunning. The sunsets are amazing and the stars breathtaking at night-time. The use of Yoga mats under the bed was also really appreciated and it was great practising outside in the sunshine on the wooden decking. It’s also really handy being a short walk from the excellent Cliff Top Cafe which serves home-made soup, cakes and pasties amongst other things. ...
