We had a wonderful few days at The Eagle to celebrate my 40th. We had all weathers, including spring sunshine, a storm and hail showers, but the log burner and wood supply kept us toasty warm. The changing dramatic views were wonderful and the cabin had everything we needed, including kitchen essentials so we could stay in and cook every night. As other reviews have noted, definitely worth packing light for an easier trek down and back up again, but we managed fine even loaded up with bags. ...

If you want to feel "off grid" but a close enough walk (1 mile or so) to the beach, some lovely pubs and restaurants. Then this is perfect for you. It was amazingly peaceful with only the sound of the sea to send you to sleep. Absolutely stunning! ...

Beautifully decorated and well equipped chalet with a picturesque view of the coast. Perfect for if you’re looking to disconnect, enjoy some tranquility and take in what the coast has to offer. The host was extremely communicative and contacted us prior to our arrival to let us know that there was an issue with the WiFi but that he was already aware and had been in contact with the provider. They can also be flexible with the check in and out times if there are no other immediate bookings. Although stated in some areas that this chalet is only suitable for those who are able bodied, we wanted to emphasise how steep and narrow the path could be in certain places however, we managed fine as a couple in our mid to late twenties. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would consider re-booking again in the future. ...

I had a wonderful long weekend at The Eagle. Such a lovely place; the cabin is beautiful, and I appreciated the welcome from the owners by WhatsApp so it was easy to be in touch if required. The stay was just what I needed!
