Beautifully decorated and well equipped chalet with a picturesque view of the coast. Perfect for if you’re looking to disconnect, enjoy some tranquility and take in what the coast has to offer. The host was extremely communicative and contacted us prior to our arrival to let us know that there was an issue with the WiFi but that he was already aware and had been in contact with the provider. They can also be flexible with the check in and out times if there are no other immediate bookings. Although stated in some areas that this chalet is only suitable for those who are able bodied, we wanted to emphasise how steep and narrow the path could be in certain places however, we managed fine as a couple in our mid to late twenties. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would consider re-booking again in the future. ...

I had a wonderful long weekend at The Eagle. Such a lovely place; the cabin is beautiful, and I appreciated the welcome from the owners by WhatsApp so it was easy to be in touch if required. The stay was just what I needed!

Very nice and direct contact with the owner. Super quick help with problems. Beautifully secluded house with no view from outside. Ideal place to be alone as a couple. Quick access to the beach possible, but then you have to climb a bit. Everything you need to relax is available....

A great little place to stay with a fab view but beware of the walk down the cliff-side, it’s not a stroll!

The View Café no longer exists, so you have to be careful to find the path leading to the chalet. The path to the chalet is a real challenge, especially with luggage; you're close to a mountaineer. We cleaned the bathroom due to its filth. We removed the cobwebs and spiders from the corners of the walls. However, the place is exceptional and super peaceful despite the mice in the walls, a bed that's too soft, and an outdated armchair that should be replaced. The sea view is absolutely magnificent. As for supplies, you have to go to Plymouth. The cooking and dishwashing utensils are very practical. In cold weather, you have to heat the fireplace, which isn't very cooperative. You can climb directly from the chalet to get to the beach below with the help of well-installed cables....
