This really is a gem of a find. It is cosy, well appointed, the WiFi is great (I worked here remotely during part of my stay), and the owner’s communication was excellent. The views are stunning. The sunsets are amazing and the stars breathtaking at night-time. The use of Yoga mats under the bed was also really appreciated and it was great practising outside in the sunshine on the wooden decking. It’s also really handy being a short walk from the excellent Cliff Top Cafe which serves home-made soup, cakes and pasties amongst other things. ...

I'll be back, for sure. I specifically wanted somewhere with a sea view and a log burner, The Eagle was perfect. I particularly appreciated the generous amount of logs available as this was a solo break and I would never have been able to carry sacks of logs down the cliff. A minor problem with the Internet was sorted quickly and all communication with the owner was prompt and friendly. Just a note to other people like me who don't do anything to keep fit ... the walk back up the cliff is steep! I highly recommend packing as light as possible.
