A fantastic camping experience for a young family of four. We came for a valentines / birthday long weekend. A truly magical spot. We cannot wait to come back again! Hosts were so lovely. Totally off grid, to get away from all the hustle and bustle. A truly magical experience. Don’t change anything. ...

Polly is a fantastic and comfortable place to stay. The attention to detail is superb, there really is everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay. The little private woods is a lovely bonus and the outdoor space and furniture ensures you can enjoy the countryside surrounding the site. It is a peaceful retreat with lovely additions such as the log burner and fire pit. Communication with Nicky was great and we had everything we needed. We left feeling refreshed and content knowing that Polly the Lorry is a very special place to stay. We hope to return in the future....

We absolutely loved Polly the Lorry! We had the best time, our boys lived their best life and didn't want to come home. Waking up to the animals, collecting eggs for breakfast, picking apples, bug hunting and stories in the hammock, lots of out door bath time because it was so hot! all finished with hot dogs on the fire pit then toasted mallows and hot chocolate under the stars. The bottle of fizz on arrival for my husbands birthday was really thoughtful and went down a treat sat out in the sun. The hosts were so lovely and we really had the best few days. We can't wait to come back. Thank you :) ...

What a tranquil and peaceful setting and such a delightfully quirky setup. We possibly had two of the most relaxing and comfortable sleeps of our lives in the utter silence of the countryside, aided in no short measure by the deceptively large and very fluffy bed. Neither of us opened an eye until the sun was high in the sky on both mornings. The lovely shady woodland area was a delightful addition to the property on those hot July days and we especially enjoyed the outdoor bath (as well as the complimentary wine in the fridge!). It was a pleasant surprise in such an outdoor location to have all of the hot water (including the shower) instantly available and unlimited in quantity. Cooking facilities were easy to use and having so much firewood and plenty of kindling without an added fee was certainly an added bonus. Many thanks to the owners for sending us a detailed video showing us how to use everything because we couldn't meet them on the day. A wonderful stay!...

Really lovely, fun place to stay. Super-comfortable and cosy, the little stove is wonderful on a colder day. Lots of space for kids to play, very clean, beatutiful furnishings but still very homely. Friendly and helpful hosts. Loved it!
