Our stay was nothing short of excellent. Nicky and family were so welcoming and always willing to answer any questions. The space was great and perfectly equipped. Most importantly, totally idyllic. Our kids were in their element - flying their kite in the field, investigating the pond, enjoying toasted marshmallows after an al fresco bath, befriending the animals and eating fresh eggs for breakfasts under the rustling leaves… ...

We had a fabulous week staying at Polly. A peaceful and tranquil spot where we could really chill out and relax. Nicki and her family were all so welcoming and helpful during our stay, helping us with our luggage and providing icepacks daily for the cool box . The fridge was a saviour in the hot weather. Extra touches like the hammock, sun lounger, outside bath, fire pit really made it extra special. Loved collecting eggs from the chickens and the supplies and fizz were much appreciated. Plenty to go and see and do in the surrounding area and a great walk to the local pub through the corn field for Sunday lunch. Loved everything about it! ...

Polly is a fantastic and comfortable place to stay. The attention to detail is superb, there really is everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay. The little private woods is a lovely bonus and the outdoor space and furniture ensures you can enjoy the countryside surrounding the site. It is a peaceful retreat with lovely additions such as the log burner and fire pit. Communication with Nicky was great and we had everything we needed. We left feeling refreshed and content knowing that Polly the Lorry is a very special place to stay. We hope to return in the future....
