This is a cute cottage in a wonderful location. However, it is relatively rustic (including very rudimentary outdoor shower and toilet) and while it theoretically sleeps 8 (there are 8 beds) we found it too small and lacking in sufficient kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities for a family of 6. "Our Cottage" at St Makes was just perfect. Out of the front door and into the sea. The property had everything provided that we could possibly need. Beds super comfortable, good nights sleep guaranteed, window open slightly just listening to the waves, bliss....

The views from this cottage are spectacular and I loved watching the boats out at sea from the comfort of my bed! Close to the steps down to the beach for your morning swim and in right the centre of st Mawes. Super comfy beds and plenty of space for indoor and outdoor eating. In the Autumn there is an open fire for those chillier nights. Greeted with a bottle of fizz and fresh flowers too. This is a lovely peaceful place to enjoy all that st mawes has to offer. ...

I totally love this cottage and the location. We have been going for over 40 years so that says it all. The place is cosy yet spacious and full of character. With the beach just across the road it is great for families. Can't wait til we return....
