The position of this property is second to none - amazing views both during the day and at night looking at the lights on the ships and buoys out at sea. Lovely comfortable cottage and the village of St Mawes has some lovely little shops with friendly shopkeepers and all the amenities you might want. I ate out at The rising Sun which was ok and the hotel Tresanton 3times which was a real treat - beautiful surroundings and friendly staff and fabulous food. Lots of places to go for walks and the ferry is of course an added bonus as I don’t drive. ...

Our Cottage is such a lovely home. Everything is perfect for a family holiday. And the view is fantastic. St Mawes has some lovely eateries and a great bakery! Excellent location for a relaxing holiday - with the coast, harbourside village, places to eat and plenty of walking on the doorstep you can take a break from driving to places everyday. The seaviews from Our Cottage are also a real bonus, as long as other drivers are considerate and don't park outside the windows for long periods of time - thankyou to Classic Cottage team and housekeeper for responding quickly when we had an issue with this. The back terrace garden is very quiet and peaceful and a great place to enjoy listening to the birdsong and enjoy visits from a very tame blackbird and robin....

This is a cute cottage in a wonderful location. However, it is relatively rustic (including very rudimentary outdoor shower and toilet) and while it theoretically sleeps 8 (there are 8 beds) we found it too small and lacking in sufficient kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities for a family of 6.
