The views from this cottage are spectacular and I loved watching the boats out at sea from the comfort of my bed! Close to the steps down to the beach for your morning swim and in right the centre of st Mawes. Super comfy beds and plenty of space for indoor and outdoor eating. In the Autumn there is an open fire for those chillier nights. Greeted with a bottle of fizz and fresh flowers too. This is a lovely peaceful place to enjoy all that st mawes has to offer. ...

Overall, this is a charming, cosy cottage in a fantastic location but we felt it needed a little bit of updating to make it the luxury experience we’d expect from the photos/description. Classic cottages should make clear that guests have to pay £35 for a week’s parking permit at the car park, which is around a 10 minute walk away....
